Local market 'responds positively' to Blackridge development

George Wimpey’s new Blackridge development has seen a positive reaction from those looking to buy a house in West Lothian, the housebuilder has said.

A total of 29 properties are available in the new development, three and four-bedroom family homes under the name of Ailsa Gardens.

"We’ve seen a very positive response from the local property market to the range, style and quality of homes available," said Michelle Logie, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey West Scotland.

She added that the Ailsa Gardens development is located close to the M8 for travel to the east or west, meaning a "relatively short commute" in either direction, something that could prove tempting for those looking to buy a house in West Lothian.

Finally, Ms Logie highlighted the "stunning" views that a number of the properties in the development have of Lanark, Airdrie and the Lothians.

Both semi-detached and detached properties are included in the luxury development, according to the George Wimpey website.
