Child Welfare
Some families can find themselves with social work involvement and/or within the children's hearing system. This can lead to some decisions being made by the children's hearing - formerly children's panel - or social work that families have to abide by but may not be happy with.
We currently assist families in attending children's hearings, appealing decisions made by the children's hearing, referrals made by the children's reporter to court, child protection orders, permanence orders, assist kinship carers and many other legal issues associated. Legal aid funding may be available for these particular cases.
