Executry
Executry refers to the estate of a deceased person and the legal process of winding up that estate, which involves gathering assets, paying debts and taxes, and distributing the remaining property to the beneficiaries according to a Will or the law of intestacy. The executor is the appointed person responsible for managing the executry, often requiring confirmation to gain legal authority to deal with the estate’s assets.
